Music that stuck on my playlist

Music is the language of the world... if you're having a bad mood, music is the cure... music can easily describe your mood...

Hampir semua orang pasti punya satu playlist entah di CD, Flashdisk, winamp atau smartphone yang selalu siap dimainkan ketika kita udah bosan dan mati gaya dengan FB, twitter, instagram atau path..

On my case, I have a bunch of song that always stuck on my playlist.... dari jaman SMA, jaman ospek, kuliah ampe bikin skripsi itu lagu setiaaaa banget nemenin di winamp....mungkin karena lagu-lagu itu juga skripsi gw bisa selesai. Sampai hari ini lagu-lagu itu masih terus setia nongkrong di smartphone dan flashdisk gw ... listening to an old song its like riding a time machine,...it brings back so many memories...

But, the odd thing is...I bet, everybody has that one particular song yang gak pernah di play tapi entah kenapa itu lagu selalu ada di playlist.... didengerin bentar trus di skip, tapi enggan untuk di hapus.. karena ya siapa tau suatu hari nanti (yang gak entah kapan) itu lagu pasti bakalan kita dengerin ampe abis... but then, that day never comes.... (kasian ya tuh lagu di PHP-in mulu.....)

Sama halnya dengan satu atau dua lagu yang selalu ada di playlist kita dan gak pernah bosen  untuk didengarkan berulang-ulang.....apalagi kalo dengerinnya pas kita lagi mandi atau nyetir sendirian... waaaah udah berasa di studio musik aja tuh, nyanyi keras-keras sepenuh hati pas di bagian refrain... serasa artis pemenang grammy award lagi konser ... ngaku deeeeeh pasti kita semua pernah kayak gitu....

So, here goes ...some of the song that stuck on my playlist :

1. Michi to you all by Aluto

Penggemar Naruto pasti tau dooong lagu ini..... yup, it's one of Naruto sound track.... eits, awas yaaa kalo kalian pikir ini lagu buat anak ABG....tiap gw denger lagu ini tuh bawaannya mellow banget... apalagi instrumentnya gitar + biola... udah deeeh tambah galau... lagu ini tuh paling enak kalo didengerin pas ujan & sendirian, nadanya pasti meresap dihati.. (cieeeeeeh... sok sok puitis banget sih)... for those of you who haven't heard their song, here's the link of their official video :

Ho iya, semenjak gw denger nih lagu, gw jadi nge fans sama Aluto....lagu-lagu nya memang didominasi instrumen biola + gitar... jadi sebagian besar sih nadanya mellow mellow gitu laaah... tapi ada kok beberapa yang nge-beat.

2. L'arc`en~ciel

woooh kalo dari band yang satu ini mah banyak banget list nya... salah satunya yang wajib ada di playlist : My heart draws a dream, Link, Killing me, Shine... atau yang mellow-mellow kayak Jojoushi, Hitomi no Jyunin, Umibe (their phenomenal song) Blurry Eyes.... VC nya googling aja sendiri yaa...

3. Seasons call & Shallow Sleep by Hyde

Lagu ini project solo nya vokalis Laruku, which is Hyde... kalo denger lagu ini dampaknya ke gw tuh berasa nambah semangat (lebaaaay deeeeeh)... heee padahal ma emang udah dari sononya nge fans ama Hyde... but seriously, I never get enough of it... here's the video

4. Iris - Goo goo dolls

Ho..ho..ho..hoo.... anak 90an mana ada yang gak tau lagu ini.... it's the most romantic and heart breaking song... ya kaaaan... tiap lagu ini gak sengaja diputer di radio, mood pasti otomatis mellow...

5. Find you - Zedd

Kalo ini sih emang lagu baru... but when the first time I heard it, I knew that this song will always stay on my playlist.... dan ternyata bener.... tiada hari tanpa dengerin lagu ini... it was the best up-beat-song that will instantly bring up your good mood at the moment you heard it.... gak percaya.. I dare you to check their video here :

Life Ambitions

OK, before I start this... well obviously everyone has their own perception on life ambition... but the question is, is there any difference between life ambition, purpose of life or your goals in life?

When I was a fresh graduate from high school I written all of my goals in life (sort of bucket list) on a piece of paper (I haven't got a computer on that time), at that time the top of my goals is "Watching L'arc~en~ciel live in concert at Japan" (which I already did, but not at their home town...you can read about it here).

And then I went to college...  one night before I my graduation ceremony on the next morning, I make a new list about my life goals, and here's some of my goals as far as I could remember,  it was something like this:

1. Watching L'arc~en~ciel live in concert at Japan

2. Having a great career at a great company with job that suit with my passion and have a lots of great friends.

3. Become a great graphic designer

4. Become my own Boss, having my own company with many employees

5. Traveled around the world

and so on... (gak akan gw share semua bucket list gw disini kaleeee, takut dicontek....heee... I'll keep them private on my secret hiding place... hahaaa.. gak penting yee)

Ambition keeps you hungry.... although 'hungry' nya orang pasti beda-beda... ada yang lapar karena harta, jabatan, wanita, knowledge, batu akik and so on (gak nyambung, but hey its my blog, I'll write what ever I want). We all have different type of 'hungry' or 'thirst'...

But how to maintain your ambitions? how to keep yourself hungry or thirst?

Find your passion... it's the only fuel that keeps you going on.... ketahuan banget yaa suka baca-baca bukunya Rene Suhardono, tapi semua buku beliau emang bagus (and I'm saying this for free)... when I reading it for the first time, it feels like someone really slap me hard on the face.... it makes me realize to not just work for money... but also a bigger and higher purpose....

Friends

Woooow.... Kemana aja nih yang punya blog... Ampe 2 tahun kagak posting apapun... Yaa beginilah kalo jadi bloger kambuhan.... Kadang niat nulis, kadang gak nulis-nulis.. Heeee

So, There I was sitting in front of my notebook, so many random things crossing inside my brain.... So many idea, story and experience I want to share (ya elaaah kayak yg banyak aja pengalamannya) but suddenly when my fingers begin to type the first sentence, all of the sudden it was gone... Empty.... None... Zero... Nihil!!!  And I just sit there staring blankly on my notebook screen, wondering how am I going to start my posting...yup, I'm having so-what-they-called the 'bloggers' block... Doesnt sounds good isn't... Iya, emangnya writers aja yang bisa kena 'writers block'.. Blogger juga bisa kena  'block'... (Pede banget yaa nyebut diri sendiri blogger) Padahal siih itu mah cuman alesan... Emang kenyataannya lagi gak niat nulis aja...

The symptoms are always the same...I dont how to put or write it in a story that would make anyone wants to read it...I dont know where or how to begin with....

But, when the vibe is good and I feel like I want to write something... my fingers just dance by it self on the keyboard.. So, shall we begin with the posting? Well here it goes....

Postingan ini judulnya 'Friends' kalo yang baca nih postingan anak tahun 90an, yang pertama terlintas kalo denger 'Friends' adalah sitkom yang judulnya sama... Yup, you are right... I want to write something about this serial on my point of view....

Well, for those who dont know the serial.. 'Friends' is the most popular sitcom serial in the 90s (ketahuan deh umurnya..ha..ha).... please kindly check this link for infomation ; http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friends  atau google aja kaleee jangan males dweeeh.....

Sitkom ini gak pernah bosen untuk ditonton berulang ulang.... humornya memang direncanakan dalam script, tapi justru itu yang bikin lucu... penulisan naskahnya jenius abis (two thumbs up for the team, four if  I include my feet)... pokoknya kalo lagi bete dan butuh hiburan, serial Friends pasti jadi pilihan nomor satu untuk ditonton... udah gak kehitung deh berapa kali gw nonton ini serial berulang ulang, meskipun ada beberapa pilihan serial lain untuk ditonton, tapi gak pernah ada bosennya...

The story of a group (or a gang) of 6 people whom lived in Manhattan, New York.. They're :

1. The one with the lovely drama queen : Rachel Green (Jennifer Anishton)

 

She's a 'sweet heart' type of girl... I looooove how she dress her hair since the first episode until the last... Doi ini digambarkan tipe-tipe cewek cantik populer dan agak bitchy gitu lah... Rachel ini jadi first crush nya Ross since high school... Ross & Rachel akhirnya pacaran, tapi ya gitu lah pacaran putus nyambung putus nyambung... but in the end they're finally  hooked up (yeeeaaaaay...) the drama between Ross and Rachel are always revolve around 'We were on a break' thing...

One thing I surely envy from her is... she always have a beautiful hair cut...

2. The one with the OCD room mate ; Monica Geller (Courtney Cox)

She is Ross sister and Rachel best friend in high school... She used to be fat... tapi setelah gak sengaja denger Chandler bilang dia gendut akhirnya Monica diet dan doi berhasil ngurusin badan... and years after that Chandler and Monica were in love.. (aaaaawww)

Monica ini typical cewek OCD...(not the diet thingy from some mentalist) everything has to be organized well... rada-rada kompulsif, suka banget bersih bersih, liat apartemennya kotor dikit langsung deh keluar jiwa pembokatnya.... dia selalu merasa kalo Ibu dan Bapaknya lebih sayang sama kakaknya Ross dibanding dia... her parents always comparing her life to her brothers... But, I envy her relationship with her brother...

3. The one with the quirky friend ; Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow)

I can't imagine having a friend like Phoebe, I mean if she's even real.... I bet she wont even have any friends at all with her quirkiness... 

One thing that I always remember from her is, how she plays her guitar and sing....'Smelly cat.. smelly cat, what are they feeding you.. smell cat, smelly cat, its not your fault'... (kalo penggemar Friends sejati pasti langsung nyanyi begitu baca tuh lirik).

Dia ini pernah jadi surrogate mother adiknya... giving a birth of triplets for her brother... even though she's a bit quirky but she has a dark past... her mother killed herself, and her twin sister Ursula wont even be nice to her...and she use to live on the street before she met Monica... Phoebe is Monicas room mate before Rachel comes...

4. The  one with the geeky brother ; Ross Geller (David Schwimmer)

Ross is Monicas brother and Rachel on-and-off boyfriend... he's a paleontologist...  he has 3 failed marriages which are : Carol (his lesbian ex-wife)  Emily (cerai gara-gara Ross salah ngucapin nama pas di altar....) Rachel (the one with a really heavy drunk night at vegas).... Ross punya anak dari istrinya yang pertama namanya Ben... but latter on, Ross and Rachel has a daughter out of wedding lock named Emma (according to Monica she's a product of an old merlot and a broken condom)...  tapi diakhir season Ross and Rachel akhirnya balikan lagi....

5. The one with the 'How you doin?' pick up line : Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc)

Begitu liat foto itu yang pertama terlintas pasti kalimat rayuan gombal ini 'How you doin?'... Joey ini room mate nya Chandler... bisa dibilang mereka ini soulmate banget lah... dia ini jago banget ngegebet cewek dan (ngaku nya sih) gak pernah ditolak sama satupun cewek.... he work as a soap opera actor on Days of Our Lives... perannya jadi dr. Drake Ramoray..  Joey pernah jatuh cinta sama Rachel pas Rachel hamil, tapi akhirnya mereka gak jadian cause there was too many history between Ross and Rachel... peran Joey nih agak lemot-lemot bego gimanaaa gituh, innocent tapi justru jadi pelengkap si trio cowok Friends ini...

6. The one with the sarcastic sense of humor : Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry)

He's my favorite character on Friends... he has these sarcastic sense of humor... di tiap episode nya pasti si Chandler nih suka ngasih komentar yang sarcastic kalo geng ini lagi pada hang out di Central Perk.. komenta-komentar spontan dia yang sarcastic bener-bener bisa bikin ngakak... salah satunya 'Hi, I'am Chandler Bing...I make jokes when I'm uncomfortable' ... pada awalnya Chandler dan Monica nih gak saling gebet... but after that one night in London, akhirnya mereka keterusan lalu akhirnya serius deh ampe nikah ... the most memorable scene between Chandler and Monica is when Monica proposed to Chandler, when Monica down on her knee and ask him 'Would you marry me?' at the apartment filled with candle light, that's one of the best scene I never forget...

There are some character on Friends yang terus-terusan muncul sepanjang serial ini berjalan, semacam karakter pelengkap yang pada akhirnya malah jadi hit dan punya ciri khas selain pemeran utamanya:

1. The one with the Central Perk manager: Gunther (James Michael Tyler)

Sampe serial ini berakhir... nama belakang Gunther masih tetep jadi misteri... Gunther has a huge crush on Rachel, but he has no courage to tell her.... karakter ini termasuk awet, Gunther selalu setia menemani dari Season 1 sampe 10....

2. The One with the annoying ex-girlfriend : Janice (Maggie Wheeler)

This is her famous line : 'OH....MY.....GOD'... she has a squeaky voice and annoying laugh that irritates Joey... She's Chandler ex-girlfriend. On the earlier of the season, Chandler actually kind off crazy about Janice... they finally broke up because Janice cheat on Chandler with her ex-husband.

Karakter ini suka sekonyong-konyong muncul out of the blue like an irritating fly or mosquito (...udah diusir pake tangan, disemprot anti nyamuk masih tapi tetep muncul )...but somehow karakter dia terus muncul dari seasons 1 sampe 10... dan akhirnya malahan jadi terkenal karena suara ketawanya yang melengking.... you know its her if you heard the catchy phrase 'Oh..My...God'

3. The one with the ugly naked guy who lived across the building  : Mr. Ugly Naked Guy

Mr. Ugly Naked Guy ini nama karakter aslinya masih misterius sampe serial ini berakhir... he lives across Monicas apartment building, so when everybody hang out at Monicas places... they always spying Mr.Ugly Naked Guy through her windows balcony....namun pada akhirnya Ross pindah ke apartemen Mr. Ugly Naked Guy... he has an amazing apartment.

4. The one with the coffee house with the orange couch : Central Perk 

Here's the famous Central Perk... for those who are Friend geek pasti pengeeeeeen banget suatu hari bisa nyoba dudukin sofa orange tempat mereka hang out, pemilik Central Perk pernah nongol di season pertama kalo gak salah... yang pernah kerja jadi pelayan di coffee house ini Rachel dan Joey... Phoebe used to perform here singing her famous 'Smelly Cat' song...

Ada beberapa karakter lainnya yang terus muncul dari season awal sampe akhir...kayak orangtuanya Ross dan Monica : Jack & Judy Geller... kembarannya Phoebe : Ursula Buffay... adik-adiknya Rachel dan Joey.. mantannya Monica :Richard...

Di beberapa episode banyak artis-artis Hollywood lain yang jadi bintang tamu, kayak Brad Pitt (yang waktu itu statusnya masih suami Jennifer Anishton), Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts berperan jadi pacarnya Chandler, George Clooney, Noah Wyle (terkenal di serial Emergency Room), Brooke Shield, Reese Whiterspoon, Ben Stiller, (the late) Robin Williams and Billy Crystal, Winona Ryder, Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, Freddy Prinze Jr.... and sooo many famous Hollywood stars lainnya...

Sooo... that's it about Friends... yang pasti kalo gw lagi bosen, bad mood and need some humor... gw pasti langsung nonton serial ini... pokoknya udah gak kehitung berapa kali itu DVD diputer ulang.
